Educational requirements and other procedure to become a Judge?
What is the process of becoming a Judge in India after completing a B.Com degree and also is that possible to became a Judge by cracking any exam instead of going law school?

The minimum educational qualification required to become a Judge is graduation with Bachelors degree in Law with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
You have to pursue LL.B after B.com, you can appear in CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) to get admission in best colleges of India for Law degree. After that you can practice as an advocate and can give State Judicial Service Examination to become a Judge. Your age must be between 21 years to 35 years at the time of State Judicial Service Examination |

For recruitment as a judge in subordinate court you have to appear and qualify in the judicial service examination.
The examination is conducted by State Public Service Commission. The age limit varies with examination. The required minimum educational qualification is bachelor degree in law. So, you have to pursue LL.B course to appear in the examination. |

After 12th you can appear for CLAT(Combined Law Admission Test). This is all India Competitive exam for a 5 years course direct admission to law schools in India. Once you complete your L. L. B., you are ready to appear for magistrate examination. These are conducted by various highcourts. Even sessions judge direct examination you can appear and become a judge. |

After Graduation in any stream you can apply for 3 years LL.B. course. To become Judge in India there are two processes. First is to become a Civil Judge grade-II through qualifying exam, conducted by respective high courts. They invite applications based on their vacancies and conduct exams in multiple centers.
