I like to know the eligibility and age restriction for admission to 3year ll.b. Degree course in bangalore.

It is depend on the university for eligibility.Basic eligibility for this is you have a BA\B.COM\BSC degree with at least 50% also you have to clear entrance test.

The eligibility criteria for LLb:------

one should have a B.A / BSc / B.com degree with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and 35% for SC/ST candidates.

There is also a 2% Weightage for the post graduate degree holders. For seeking admission in this law course the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview.

In order to do LLB you need to be a graduate from science,commerce or arts stream.
Also you should have 40% or more aggregate.
You should be 22 years of age.

Eligibility for 3-year LLB:
At least 45% marks in case of General category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST category at the Bachelor’s Degree examination in 10+ 2 + 3 pattern.
Age Limit (as on Jan 01, 2011):
Maximum 30 years in case of General Category and 35 years in case of SC, ST and Other Backward Communities.

Syllabus for LLB Joint Entrance Test:
The test will have both objective as well as subjective type questions. The duration of the objective type test will be of 105 minutes. In the objective type test negative marking will be there i.e. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Objective paper will contain three parts consisting of:
General English
Logical Reasoning & Comprehension
General Knowledge and Current Affairs
Subjective paper will contain Essay Writing and Letter Writing in English having duration of 45 minutes.

As you are so interested to take admission in LLB course you can appear in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which is conducted for admission to the LLB program at eleven National Law Universities.
