I am a MTech graduate in Communication Engineering(ECE)..What's the eligibility to become assistant professor in govt/govt aided collleges?.Please send me the details

Yes, you are eligible to become professor in college after qualifying in NET or SET examination.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it is conducted by UGC twice every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidates must have passed master's degree with at least 55% aggregate from recognised university relaxation in aggregate for reserved category.

No age limitation to appear for examination for lecturer.

So, you can appear for examination. The examination is conducted in June and December. For more information about examination visit at http://www.ugc.ac.in.

You are a candidate of M.Tech in ECE so you are eligible for Assistant Professor in government college.

Eligibility criteria for Assistant Professor in government or government aided colleges:-

1.You must have Ph.D degree

or

2.You must have valid UGC NET score.

3.Your age should be above 23 years.

What is the Eligibility to became an Assist Professor. because i have completed PG degree..

As a M.Tech holder can I apply to teaching faculty in government or aided arts and science college ?
