What is the ellgibility to attend the group 1 and group 2 TNPSC exam?

The applicant must have ample knowledge of Tamil.

Educational Qualifications differ according to the post for which the candidate applies and will be available in detail with the admission notification.
Minimum Age Limit for TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2011 : Should have completed 21 years.

*Should have Finish Degree from Recognized University

*Minimum AGE 21 and MAXIMUM 35 years and Age Relaxation is there for Special Category

The Eligibility criteria for group1 and group2 TNPSC exam

Tha Candidate should be between 18 and 30 Year of age as on July 1st 20001

Though there are certain service for which the lower and upper limit may be different.

There is no upper age limit for reserved catagories.

Education qualification vary according to the service the candidate applies for and will be avilable with the admission notification

The candidate should also possess adequuate knowledge of Tamil.

I am Selvakumar My Qualification is M.Com (Commerce) DOB: 20.06.1980 Eligibility for TNPSC Group II

I did not take Tamil as one of the subjects upto graduation level. Am I eligible to write the Tnpsc group 1 exam? Is there any provision to take the tamil paper after joining the services?

1.You must have complete your deree from a recognised university.

2.Your age must in between 21 to 28yr.

For the eligibility to attend Group I and Group II TNPSC exam,you should be within 18 to 30 years old.Also you have to complete your bachelor degree in any of the recognized university or institute in India.

• The applicant must have ample knowledge of Tamil.
• Educational Qualifications differ according to the post for which the candidate applies and will be available in detail with the admission notification.
  A huge number of applicants from across Tamil Nadu appear for TNPSC exams and the competition is quite strong.
• Maximum Age Limit for TNPSC Exam:
  Should not have completed 37 years for SCs, STs, MBCs / DCs, BCs and Destitute Widows of all castes.
  32 years for candidates of General Category

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-30 year
For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR
For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year
