Eligibility criteria for Bank PO exam -
1. Graduation from any recognized university . 2. Minimum 55% marks in graduation . 3. Age limit = 21 to 30 years for general (5 years relaxation for sc/st and 3 years relaxation for obc) 4. candidate should be a citizen of India . Eligibility criteria for Clerical Exams - 1. 12th from any recognized board . 2. Minimum 55% marks in 12th. 3. Age limit = 18 to 28 years for general (5 years relaxation for sc/st and 3 years relaxation for obc) 4. Candidate should be a citizen of India . eligibility criteria for bank PO is; - a candidate should have graduate from any recognised university -age should have between 21-30, age relaxation is as per the government rule, for OBC age limit is 33 yrs and for SC/ST candidate age limit is 35 yrs eligibility for bank clarical exam -a candidate should be 10th with minimum 60% or 12th with 50% or graduate from any recognized university...... - age limit is 18-28 the above given information is for IBPS examination conducted for 19 public sector banks but banks except these have different-different eligibility requires as some banks need graduation for their clarical recruitment and some banks need 12th with 60% marks...... so this is only a rough figure..... |

If you are interested in banking sector then here are the details criteria in formation about this : PO eligibility criteria : 1.Academic qualification : You should have a graduation degree and should carry minimum 60% marks in that graduation. 2.Age limitation : Your age should be within 21 to 30 years. for banh PO exam your eligibility criteria should be graduate from any recognise universsity in any stream and your age should be in between 20-30..
for clerk exam you have to be 10+2 and your age between 17-25 |

After completing your 12th class with first class you are eligible for some bank clerical posts..
you must know the when the bank exam notification are relised. They are menctioned some eliginble critariea and age limt , nationality , education qualificatios for MINIMUM PERCENTAGE IS 60%, SC/ST/PH Persons percentage is 50% so you are completing your 12th class, you are apply banks clerical examinations. Then you are also continue your studies, you got any degree with recognised university so you are eligible for banks PO's also... so if you want a good jobin banking sector so you need to do hard work. you know more information to see the wedsites www.sbi.co.in and news papers also.. If you want to make career in banking sector then you should consider appearing for the entrance exams by Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS). It conducts both Clerk and Bank PO entrance exam.
Institute of Banking Personnel Services has the highest number of participating banks than any other banking exam. There are total of 20 Public Sector Banks that accepts the IBPS entrance exams. After clearing either Clerical or Bank PO entrance exam, you will be eligible to apply in any of these 20 banks. Bank P.O. and Clerical Exam generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks.
Eligibility for SBI Clerical Exam:- The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed 12th exam with 60% marks from a recognised Board within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation. The candidate having 12th qualification is not eligible for IBPS Clerical Exam. For Public sector banks in India IBPS and SBI conducted examination for PO and Clerks.
IBPS conducts exam for 21 Public Sector banks in India and SBI conducts exam for SBI and its Associates bank in India. Education required for Bank PO and Clerk: Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University is required for Bank PO and Clerk for the exam conducted by IBPS. For SBI clerk there one should be 10+2 with 60% marks. But for SBI PO Graduation is the minimum qualification. Age Limit : For Clerk age must be between 18 to 28 years. For PO age must be between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is available to reserved category candidates. (II) Minimum Education Qualification: (As on date specified in the notification) (a) Public Sector Banks: PO --- A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Clerical --- A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. (b) Regional Rural Banks : Office Assistant(Clerk) - Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Officer Scale-I --- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Officer Scale-II (GBO) --- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate. Experience --- Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution. Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers) (i) Chartered Accountant - Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Experience --One Year (ii) Marketing Officer- Post Graduate Degree in Marketing from a recognized university. Experience --One Year (iii) Treasury Manager- Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance from a recognized university/ institution. Experience – One Year (iv) Agricultural Officer - Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural/Engineering/ Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience – Two Years Officer Scale-III --- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate. Experience --- 5 years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution. (c) SBI and SBI Associate Banks: PO --- A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Clerical --- Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) or equivalent qualification thereof with a minimum of 60% marks OR Diploma Course passed after 10th Standard with a minimum of 60% marks OR A degree (Graduation level) from recognized university with a minimum of 40% marks Note – Relaxation of age as per rules for reserved candidates. (III) Computer Literacy: Some banks insist that the candidate should posses working knowledge of computers before joining the bank and few banks mention that the desired computer skills may be acquired within six months of joining the bank. If a candidate has not studied computers as one of the subjects in school/college, the candidate must possess a valid diploma (basic applications) in computers. (IV) Language Proficiency: (a) Public Sector Banks: Clerical ---- Since clerical cadre recruitment would be on State-wise basis, the candidate may also be required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies he wishes to apply. (b) Regional Rural Banks : For Office Assistants (Clerks) and Scale-I Officers ---- Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed "local language" as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard (c) SBI and SBI Associate Banks Clerical ---- Since clerical cadre recruitment would be on State-wise basis, the candidate may also be required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies he wishes to apply. As every bank is free to decide the eligibility criteria for its officers or clerks, the candidates must read the notification carefully and ensure their eligibility before making an application. |

Bank PO and Bank clerk are the exam which are commonly known as Bank exams. This exam is conducted by various banks throughout India and some of them are: • Allahabad Bank • Andhra Bank • Bank of Baroda • Bank of India • Bank of Maharashtra • Canara Bank • Central Bank of India • Corporation Bank • Dena bank • Indian Bank • Indian Overseas Bank • Oriental Bank of Commerce • Punjab National Bank • Punjab & Sind Bank • Syndicate Bank • Union Bank of India • United Bank of India • UCO Bank • Vijaya Bank. For writing this exam you need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria's and they may include: Eligibility for Bank PO: > Candidate must have a citizenship in India. > Candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years of age. > The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate. Some banks prefer for 55%. > The candidates must know about computers and must know to operate MS Office. Eligibility for Bank Clerk: > Candidate must have a citizenship in India. > Candidate must have a age limit of 18-28 years of age. > Candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized board with a fair percentage. Eligibility criteria for Bank PO is >> Graduate with 60% marks which is relaxable for SC/ST etc categories to 55% age limit 21 to 30 yrs and 3 yrs relaxable for reserved categories Eligibility Criteria for Bank Clerk is >>10+2 with 60% or above >>18 to 28 yrs relaxation for reserved categories note that this criteria is for Nationalised Banks only Good Luck |
