i got my roll number for the written test will be held on 13 feb 2011

My question

1) i am Msc in computer science from American university in london just wanted to know whether i am eligible for this position or not

2) i have 2 years DNIIT computer course certificate

3) I have done my Graduation in Arts

Hello friend,
The eligibility criteria for the Junior Executive (ATC) will be minimum graduation in the field of science and engineering. The candidate must be of Indian origin.
Rather you have done your degree from London you are eligible for the ATC as you are indian.
So don't get worried about it just applied for it.

Eligibilities for Manager (ATC) -

Age- Max 32 years

Min. 60% in Engineering Degree (Electronics/Tele Communication/Radio Engineering/IT/ Electrical with Specialization in Electronics)

OR

Min. 60% in M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special Subject

OR

Min. 60% in PG Degree in Physics / Mathematics/ Computer Science or equivalent.


Eligibilities for Jr. Executive (ATC) Age -

Max. 27 years

Engineering Degree in Electronics / Tele Communication / Radio Engg. /IT/ Electrical with Specialization in Electronics with 1st Class (50% for SC/ST)

OR

M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engg. as a special Subject with 1st Class (50% for SC/ST)

OR

PG Degree in Physics / Mathematics/ Computer Science or equivalent with 1st Class (50% for SC/ST).

First Class Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electronics / Tele Communication /Electronics and Communication from a recognized University / deemed University

Passed in First class Section A & B of the Institution Examination (Electronics and Telecommunication of the Institution of Engineers (India)

Passed in First class Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)


Experience- 2 years post- degree experience in relevant discipline / field.


Eligibilities for Sr. Assistant (Electronics) -

Age - Max 30 years.

Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering. (3 yrs course) from a recognized institute.

it is mentioned tat 60% in Engineering. is it for 10th and 12th ???

DRDO is working in various areas of military technology which include aeronautics, armaments, combat vehicles, electronics, instrumentation engineering systems, missiles, materials, naval systems, advanced computing, simulation and life sciences.

As far regarding the eligibility criteria for the exam it is as follows:

->The candidate must have passed at least in first class in Bachelor in Engineering/Technology in fields like ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering from a recognized university

->The candidates applying at least have 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA.

Age limits:

->The candidate must a citizen of India.

->There is a upper relaxation age limits for the following categories:
1. For SC/ST - 5 years.
2. For OBC -3 years.
3. For Physically Handicapped candidates - 5 years (SC/ST- 10 years ,OBC - 8 years).

->The candidates who are doing their final degree semester can also apply.

The exam consists of 2 sections namely:

Section A
Section B

Section A will consist of 100 questions and for each question there will be 4 choices one of which will be correct. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks. For each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Section B will consist of 50 questions and will have questions relevant to Applied Research & Development.There will be 4 choices one of which will be correct. Each correct answer will fetch 2 marks. For each incorrect answer 1/2 mark will be deducted.
