i have completed BE in computer science enginering am i eligible for Junior executive in ATC

Airport Authority of India has released notification for 297 posts in 2016.

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electronics and telecommunication and Informational Technology is academic qualification required for this exam.

Computer Science engineering candidates are not eligible for this examination.

Computer Science engineering candidates are not eligible for Air Traffic controller examination, only candidates from following stream are eligible for :

1. Electronics.

2. Electronics and Telecommunication.

3. Information technology.

Yes, you are certainly eligible to appear in Junior Executuve in ATC after completion of B.E in Computer Science Engineering. Earlier, candidates from Electronics department only are eligible. But after revision of Eligibility criteria, it is very sure that Candidates from Computer science background are also eligible. The minimum educational qualification required is given below.

* Candidates must have completed B.E/ B.Tech in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks.

* As any stream is allowed, you are certainly eligible to apply for this recruitment being a computer science graduate.
