Is distance degree valid for applying NET exam? What is the minimum eligibility criteria for it?
Can i become eligible for doing distance msc in mlt as in j&k there is no university which provide higher education in medical lab technology so i m not able to do higher education from outside so i choose distance education please tell m will i m eligible or no?

Yes, distance degree is valid to apply for NET exam on the condition it has been done from a UGC recognized university.
NET stands for National Eligibility Test . NET is an entrance examination conducted by UGC (university grant commission) at national level for the candidates who wishes to get teaching jobs in government university. Eligibility criteria for NET are as under :- -The candidate must be an Indian. -The candidate should have completed Masters degree in related subjects with a minimum of 55% marks without rounding off for general category and 50% marks without rounding off for reserved category .Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam. -There is no upper age limit to apply for the NET exam . Application Fee: General category candidates: Rs 1000 OBC candidates - Non Creamy Layer: Rs 500 SC/ST/PWD/VH candidates: Rs 250 |
