Eligibility Criteria For NIMCET Exam?
I am a Student Who have Completed My
10th(64%) 12th(55%)without maths(Commerce) BCA Aggregate(65%) All i want to know is am I Eligible For Attending NIMCET Exam So that i can go For MCA and any other Way to Join For MCA Please help me with replays thanks.... |

Sorry friend since your from commerce stream your not eligible for NIMCET .
For attending the exam you need to complete your 12th in Mathematics with minimum 60% aggregate. all the best |

as per as the eligibility criteria of NIMCET 2011 you are not eligible for writing this exam.
because eligibility criteria for this exam is you should have minimum of 60% aggregate in 12th as well as Graduation. For SC/ST candidates they should have got at least 55% aggregate if you are SC/ST then there will be chances of giving exam. you should also have studied Maths/Statistics/Business Maths in Graduation as well as 12th. |

The eligibility criteria for the NIMCET exam conducted for the 3-year full time Master of Computer programme is mentioned below. You can check you eligibility from here: NIMCET Eligibility Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) Bachelor’s Degree of Full time 3 year duration from a recognized University With any one of Mathematics Statistics Business Mathematics Discrete Mathematics Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science Business Statistics Computational Mathematics Elementary Mathematics Elementary Statistics as one of the subjects. Those who have done Bridge Course in Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The percentage marks for (i) and (ii) above will be calculated on the basis of method used by respective Board / University. Students completing degree from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided their course is approved by UGC/AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET10. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET10 preferably at the time of Counselling/Admission but not later than 31st July, 2010, failing which, their admission may be cancelled by the respective NITs. The State of Eligibility is the state from where the candidates passed/appeared for graduation. GOOD LUCK |

sorry but you are not eligible to write NIMSET exam as eligibility criteria says that student should have math as common subject for NIMST so try for another exam in your interested field good luck |

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear for the NIMCET exam as you dont have Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2 level. The eligibility for NIMCET exam as follows 1.One should have a minimum of 60% in 10+2 and graduation level 2.For sc/st candidates it is just 55% minimum. 3.It is must and should that you have to contain Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2 level and in graduation too. Any way dont feel disappointed. You have golden opportunity in the form of MBA. Now a days these people are being sold as hot cakes. Try for that. All the best. |

Students securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects Mathematics Statistics Business Mathematics Discrete Mathematics Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science Business Statistics Computational Mathematics Elementary Mathematics Elementary Statistics are eligible. As per the eligibility you are not eligible for it. |

eligibility criteria for nimcet is mentioned below:- -the eligible candidates get admission into the various institutes of nit. To get admission into mca program in nit, nimcet is made mandatory . Eligibility criteria:- -the minimum education qualification required to appear for the examination is the bachelor’s degree from the reputed university. -the candidates must study mathematics as a subject in the plus-two stream or in the graduation level. They should have minimum 60% mark in the higher secondary level and 55% in that of eth graduation. -the final year students are also eligible to appear for the examination. Any indian national with not less than 21 years of age can take the examination. Good luck.. |

Sir, I have completed my bachelor degree(BScIT) this year, from Sikkim Manipal University through Distance Learning Program with 70 percentage.
And in 10 2, I have scored 57% (Having Mathematics as optional subject) and in 10th I have 58%. And I belongs to OBC Category. Sir, kindly help me that am I eligible for the NIMCET 2012 MCA. Sorry, you are not eligible for NIMCET, as your perentage is low in Class 12th. NIMCET - NIT MCA Common Entrance Test NIMCET is conducted by NIT Warangal for MCA admissions. Eligibility criteria for NIMCET - Indian Nationals securing atleast 60% marks aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST category) in (i) 12th (i.e. 10 + 2) level or equivalent, with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either 10+1 or 10+2 level or at both the levels AND (ii) Qualifying Degree - Bachelor’s Degree of Full time 3 year or more duration from a recognized University with at least one of the following subject - Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, Elementary Statistics |
