hi saraswati,

EAMCET Engineering 2010 Eligibility Details:

1. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.

2. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

so a non-local is also eligible for EAMCET ,but you go and get more information about the certificates required and other eligibility requirements.

best of luck!!

Hai,
Candidates who have studied within the state for last 4 consecutive years are regarded as local candidate.
You may also be treated as local candidate without studying for last four consecutive years provided

Your parents resided within the state for atleast 10 years or they are
employed in State or Central Government, Public Sector corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi-
Public Institutions within the State.

Hi dear,

for appearing in the exam you should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

you should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

for the rules and regulations you will have to visit the official website and contact the authorities for the proper guidelines......
Thanks
