Hi friends, I have done my BCom(H) from Shobhit University. Now, I want to do MCom(H) from IGNOU. I would like to know about my eligibility criteria to get admission in IGNOU for studying this MCom(H). Please tell me asap.

IGNOU is Indira Gandhi National Open University is a recognised university offer higher studies in various discipline.

The university begin it's session twice in a year. The minimum required qualification to get admission in the M.Com is that candidate must have passed B.Com from a recognised university.

The eligibility criteria for Master of Commerce from IGNOU:

Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree in commerce from a recognized university.

Bachelor of Commerce candidate from Shobhit University can apply for Master of Commerce admission in IGNOU. IGNOU is an UGC or Distance Education council approved university.

After completion of your B.Com, You can apply for the admission to M.Com course to IGNOU. IGNOU invites applications for admissions to M.Com twice a year in the months of January and July every year.

Application Procedure
- Visit the admission portal of IGNOU.
- Click on "Register Yourself" button and create your account.
- Login using User ID and Password.
- Fill the application form carefully.
- Upload necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee through online payment gateway.
- Take a print of payment confirmation slip.
- Click on "Submit" button.
- Note Registration Number and Password for future reference.
- After verification of your documents, You will get confirmation letter of admission.

- For January Session : 31st January
- For July Session : 31st July

Eligibility to secure M.Com(H) admission in IGNOU for B.Com(H) graduate of Shobhit University are:-
Candidate should have possessed Bachelor’s degree or any higher degree from a recognized university.

The eligibility criteria for Master of Commerce course:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree in commerce from a recognized university. Here recognized university means UGC approved.

You can apply for admission in IGNOU after B.Com from this university.
