Eligibility and selection of subject for Lectureship in NET?
Hi, I am a Post Graduate and I have completed my ME Communication Systems. Can I attend NET and which subject can I choose for Lectureship?

The full form of NET is National Eligibility Test.
NET is conducted by National Testing Agency for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. Eligibility criteria for NET exam: 1. You must have done master's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for exam. 2. You must have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree to apply for NET exam. 3. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship and it is 30 years for JRF. You can select any subject of your choice for NTA NET exam. |

Science stream post graduate candidates need to apply for CSIR National Eligibility Test. You can select subject of your choice.
Eligibility criteria for NET exam: 1. Post graduation in any stream from a recognized university. 2. You should have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree. If you meet above criteria then you can apply for NET exam. |

Master of Engineering candidates can either apply for National Eligibility Test or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam for Professor post.
Eligibility: Academic qualification: Master's degree from a recognized university. Percentage of marks: You need to have at least 55% marks in master's degree. You can select subject as per your interest. |
