Re: Eligibility for NET Lectureship exam?
NET stands for National Eligibility Test. It is the entrance examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education twice every year i.e; once in the month of June and once in the month of December.
The motive of examination is the selection of deserving students for their recruitment as Junior lecturer and Assistant Profess( Senior lecturer ) in the universities and college of India. * The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in this examination is a Master's degree with at least 55% aggregate ( with any of 89 subjects mentioned on its official link ) from the recognized university. Relaxation of 5% aggregate is offered to reserved category candidates as per the Central Government norms. * Also for the Junior lecturer post the maximum age limit is 28 years in case of general candidate where as for reserved category candidates it is 33 years. * For Assistant Professor in no provision of upper age limit for any category. For more detailed information about the same examination you can log on to the official link of NET i.e; www.cbsenet.nic.in. |

Re: Eligibility for NET Lectureship exam?
NET is the National Eligibility Test.
Eligibility criteria of the UGC NET exam is: 1. Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. A candidate must have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree. Since you have done master's degree in distance mode in one year if your institute is approved by University Grants Commission and Distance Education Council, you can apply for the NET lectureship exam otherwise not.
