If I want to appear for Net Lecturership , what is the eligibility criteria .
I am an MCA . AM I eligible ?
Secondly
for Net , can I appear for any other subject other than computer application like MBA, or any other subject of my choice ?

Since you hold a masters degree in computer applications, you will be considered eligible provided you have qualified with a minimum of 55% marks in the same.
The required percentage of marks is relaxed upto 5% for candidates belonging to Sc/St category.

As per the UGC guidelines, candidates are eligible to take the test only in the subject in which they have pursued their masters degree program.
As you have done MCA, you can only apply for Computer Science and Applications.

The test is conducted by UGC two times a year and to know more about it, refer to the official website of UGC NET.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

UGC conduct the examination twice in a year.

This examination is conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer ship.

You can easily teach in private and govt colleges after qualify the exam called NET.

you are eligible to apply in NET examination

provided

You have done Post Graduation in the subject from recognized university
you have at least 55% marks in post graduation.

NO

you are not eligible to apply for MBA subjects as you have done your POST GRADUATION IN COMPUTER APPLICATION.

YES after completing your MBA degree, Masters in Journalism degree holder from recognized university and ICWAI course students are also eligible.


Age limit

For Lecturer ship - There is no age limit to apply for Lecturer ship.

NET stands for National Eligiblity Test.This examination is conducted By University Grant Commission twice in a Year.The NET examination is held in the month of June And December Every year

ELIGIBILITY:

You must have completed your master's degree Course Because master's degree with 55%aggregate is the Minimum eligibility to apply for NET Examination since You have already completed your M.com Course, So you are eligible for NET Examination.

Final Year Candidates are also eligible for NET Examination.

No minimum age eligibility criteria to apply for Lectureship and for JRF, Your age Should not be more than 28 Years.

THERE ARE THREE PAPERS:

Paper I and II are Objective Type
Paper III is Optional Subject and you have to choose the Optional Subjects on the Basis of Post Graduate subjects.
