Respected Sir/Madam, I have completed my BA and secured 49% marks in it. I belongs to an OBC category and my hometown is Lucknow. I am interested to study BEd in English now. So, am I eligible to study this BEd course?

Eligibility to study B.Ed(English) are as follows:-
Candidate must have completed their graduation from a recognized university in that specialization.
Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in graduation. There are 5% relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates.
Upper age limit is not declared yet.
Candidate must have to clear entrance examination to get admission.

** B.Ed. English or Bachelor of Education in English is an undergraduate Education course.

** As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to study BEd(English) for an OBC candidate with 49% in BA.

** The candidate must have passed graduation in any stream with at least 50% from a recognized university.

** Also you should score at least 55% in English in the degree programme.
