Eligibility for WBCS exam after BCA (completed in 2010)?
I have completed BCA in the year 2010. Am I eligible to appear in WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) examination?

Educational Qualifications for WBCS Exams -
A degree of a recognized University And Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district Darjeeling i.e. forNepali speaking candidates. Age not below 21 years but not more than 32 years on the 1st January of the year of examination for services and posts included in Group ‘A’,’C’and ‘D’. For the West Bengal Police Service only age not below 20 years but not more than 32 years on the 1st January of theyear of examination. I want to apper for the WBCS exams for Group %u2018A%u2019,'B'. I am a Engineering Graduate and working for a Multinational Bank in analytics dipartment. Can i take Hisroty as my subject to apper for my exams and are there any professional Guidence available in kolkata?

Eligibility for WBCS exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.. 2.Candidate must be a citizen of India.. 3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. As you have complete the BCA course then you can apply for WBCS exam.. All the best. |

At present my age is 32 years. I'm belonging to SC category. I've already attended WBCS exam. in 2011. Now my question is, how many times shall I get the chance to attend the exam. of WBCS ?.... Niladri.

Yes you can be a wbcs officer. For that you just need to be graduate in any discipline and from a recognised university. You need to have the ability to read,write and speak bengali also.
