I have completed BCA in the year 2010. Am I eligible to appear in WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) examination?

Educational Qualifications for WBCS Exams -

A degree of a recognized University And Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district Darjeeling i.e. forNepali speaking candidates.

Age not below 21 years but not more than 32 years on the 1st January of the year of examination for services and posts included in Group ‘A’,’C’and ‘D’. For the West Bengal Police Service only age not below 20 years but not more than 32 years on the 1st January of theyear of examination.

Eligibility for WBCS examination

1.>Educational Qualifications :

(i) A Graduation degree of a recognized University.

(ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district Darjeeling, i.e. for Nepali speaking candidates).

2.>Age Factor:

Age not below 21 years but not more than 32 years at the time of examination for services and posts

For SC/ST/PD relaxation is as government rule.

Eligibility for WBCS exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..

2.Candidate must be a citizen of India..

3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

As you have complete the BCA course then you can apply for WBCS exam..
