Well, the eligibility criteria to appear for the Bank P.O. Exams is a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognized University. These days, many banks also require proficiency in computers and you may need to furnish some certificates.

The Bank P.O. Exams, like other competetive exams, are usually Objective Type exams. Mostly Banks have a single-phase exams with about 200-250 questions which you will need to field in 2 hours. Your English Language proficiency, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability are put to test. There is negative marking.

Some Banks, like the SBI, have two-tier exams and this even includes
Descriptive Questions.

You can consult various books especially meant for Bank P.O.Exams. You can also join coaching institutes that prepare you for Banking Exams. Solving previous years' questions papers will give you good practice. Staying abreast with all banking & finance,money markets,global business trends will help you and so you must read newspaper(s) regularly.

It is good that you scored 60% and above in your engineering because this is the eligibility criteria to appear for Bank PO exams.
For this you consult the book "Quantitative Aptitude" by S.Chand publications
as it contains the papers of near by last 10 years papers.
From this you will get the idea of exam pattern and what type of questions they asks.
The test is mostly of verbal ability,quantitative ability and logical reasoning.
So start preparing for this.

Yes , all bank po exams require only 60% in graduation whether it is a btech or BA. You are eligible to take the Bank PO exam.

Normally in a highest level bank po exam you would following sets of questions:
(i) test of English language (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension etc.)
(ii) test of general awareness, marketing and computers
(iii) test of data analysis and interpretation
(iv) test of reasoning (high level)

You may refer following books for this:

Bank PO eligibility differs from one bank to another bank..

since you didnt mention any name i am giving you a general criteria for it..(it may vary)

as minimum eligiblity criteria is One must completed his graduation with atleast of 55% aggreagate and 12th class with a percentage of 60% for probationary..

and for clerical one need to clear 12th class with a minimum percentage of 60%..(or in highest degree)

so i think you are eligible for at-least SBI bank PO... AS above is the eligibility criteria for SBI BANK...
