IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern---
IBPS conduct Common Written Exam(CWE) which divided in five section -- Reasoning Test Numerical Ability Test English Language Test General Awareness Test / Current Affairs Test Computer Knowledge Test. Total number of questions in this test is 250 marks in which each section has 50 marks and total time allotted is 150 minutes. Syllabu for IBPS Clerk--- Reasoning- comprising blood relation test, number series, problem solving, figure problems, alpha-numeric relation test, syllogism, coded relationships, coded inequalities may be asked in the examination. Numerical Abilities- The test will be based on 10th standard. In the numerical abilities test, questions will be closed in number system, number series, percentage, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, time and distance, time and work, average, age calculation. English Language- For English language test, questions will be framed on Passage Test, Cloze Test, Rearrange either the sentences or the words, error detection, Idioms and Phrases, fill in the blanks, spelling error, one word substitution, phrasal verbs. General Awareness- In this section questions will be framed on International and National Events, Sports, Awards and Prizes, questions relating to Games and sports, Economic Terms and Current Economic Developments,Questions pertaining to important Personalities, Books and Author etc. Computer Awareness- Basic terms and definitions, questions relating to computer hardware, software, MS Office, Internet, networking, e commerce, computer threads like virus, malware, spyware etc and any other current development in the field of computer technology. |

Exam pattern for IBPS PO Common written examination It is of a total of 250 marks. It consists of two type of tests- Objective type tests Descriptive type test Objective type tests Objective test consist of 250 questions of 225 marks. It consist of 5 sections - Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude , General awareness, computer knowledge and English language. Each section consist of 50 questions. 1 mark is awarded for each correct question except for English language section in which 0.5 mark is awarded. 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer except for English language section in which 0.125 mark is deducted. So English language section is of 25 marks and all other section are of 50 marks. The time allotted for objective type test will be 2.5 hours and it can be attempted both in hindi and English medium Descriptive type test Those candidates who qualify each of the objective test are eligible to give the Descriptive type test of English . The time allotted for descriptive type test will be 1 hour and it will be of 200 marks. Exam pattern for IBPS clerk Common written examination It consists of Objective type questions only. It consist of 5 sections - Reasoning, Numerical ability , General awareness, computer knowledge and English language. Each section consist of 50 questions. 1 mark is awarded for each correct question and0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. The paper is of a total of 250 marks and time allotted for this paper is 2.5 hours. The qualified candidates will be issued a score card which will be valid for one year only |
