Should we do MCA correspondence or not? Will it make our future or not ? Which university is best for the mca correspondence?

it fine to do MCA correspondence? Best universities offering MCA correspondence course?


If You Are Doing Some Jobs, Then You Can Do Correspondence MCA Course.

But, If You Cant Do any Job, Then I Will Suggest You Just Do Regular Course, Because In now A Days, the First Prefrence Is Given To Only Regular Course Students.

So, If You Are Interested To Do Course, Then Its Better To Do Regular MCA Course.

But If You Are Interested to Do Jobs, Then You Can Go With Correspondence MCA Course. So Its Basically Depends On Your Interest.

obviously if you do MCA in regular mode and if you do in correspondence mode then regular mode is better. but due to some reason there are so many student who complete their post graduate in correspondence mode.



correspondence study is helpful only when you will do some job and at the same time you will continue your study. if you can submit your work experience certificate and the correspondence degree are the same time then it will be helpful. so if you are doing any good job then only go for correspondence MCA. then it will be fine for you. but do not try to do correspondence study in two course at the same time or for any other reason don't go for correspondence study.

etc. choose the most preferable one and nearest one for you.

MCA in regular mode is far better then correspondence .
flaws in correspondence is :

Lack of physical interaction with the instructor and other students.

No Immediate Feedback - In some cases, especially correspondence courses, students
have to wait for feedback, perhaps for weeks

all leading companies show preference for candidates who have done a regular course.

It doesn’t help in building oral communication skills

Actually i completed by Bca in university of madras in the year of 2008. for the past two years i worked in small concern i dont have any offer and relieving letters from that company.. Now decide to do my mca in regular college . I got more confused that whether after completing my mca will i have chances to get a good jobs in Software field?? Please advice whether my decision is right or wrong.. After completing my mca I have two years of gaps in my education. This may be arise any problem in interviews. How can i tackle that situation. Pls give me clear details. It will be worth for me.

I have Passed SSC in 1998.. therafter I could not persue my education..in 2008 I secured admission for BCA by non formal sream from TNOU and just appeared for BCA final in Aug 2011 .. Result is expected by Dec 11.. Meanwhile I have Passed 12 ob CBSE pattern from NIOS.. in March 2011.. I have technical skill of C,C .C .C#,My SQL,PHP,HTML,CSS,JAVASRIPT,Core Java and J2EE... and I am 27 years of age..
Shall I hope for Good Job in Good Company.. Or My Education from Open University has NO standerd ? And If there is GAP in education due to other reasons and not academic failure.. May I be betrayed from opportunity to work for reputed company? as TCS asks for No GAP in education..
Will somebody guide me.. Is Mr TATA listening ?? Think.. JRD should have be today ..!!!

I would like to suggest you that MCA in Correspondence is not good.

Doing study with correspondence course you will not traine well in practical.

I would like to suggest you that MCA in Correspondence is not good.

Doing study with correspondence course you will not trained well in practical. but you mentioed that you are working currently in Mindtree as s/w Enginner then i would like to suggest you that

Hi, IGNOU university is best for doing MCA Correspondence but
I would like to suggest you to do MCA in regular basis rather than correspondence, more jobs options in mca in reqular than corespondence in IT and Government field.

hi i have compleated my bsc in computer science (2011) an i hav still not got a software job.. so now i am planning to work in a school as a teacher and simultaneously do MCA corres.. in IGNOU.... please suggest me your opinions.........

MCA : It is a post graduate Master's degree in Computer Application.The students who wish to pursue MCA must have a B.C.A./B.Sc./ B.Com/B.A. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation.

You have to spent atleast one semester in an industry developing a software system out of 6 semesters . The MCA programme is planned to have 5 theory subject plus two laboratories each semester which cover information technology, business management and mathematics.

Where as BE in Computer Science is a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science , which is a technical Degree.

Computer Science is not just about building computers or writing computer programs, Computer Science is no more about building computers and developing software ,Computer science is not about the tools we use to carry out computation.

It is about how we use such tools, and what we find out when we do. The solution of many computer science problems may not even require the use of computers—just pencil and paper. As a matter of fact, problems in computer science have been tackled decades before computers were even built.

Computer Science is about building computers and writing computer programs, and much much more!
