There is no distinction in it, but if you find it contemptible or objectionable then you can try Biotech or any other fields....its better not to choose then to leave so make your choice wisely.
But it doesnt mean that it is some gendre specific study or work so you can opt for it (if you want) unless there are much better courses....it all depend on your choice may be you enter that field and can do extraordinary ..see your interest and take decision

i have appeared for 12 boards this time from science background and want to pursue my further studies in forensic science but i ain't really sure if i should be doing bsc in any other subject and then do my post graduation in forensic science or should i directly go for bsc in forensic science . And also i would like to know more about it's various fields and job scope in india.
i am hoping for a reply as early as possible so i can make the better decision.
