Hello,
To get into forensics, you must have the following eligibility :
You need to have a background in science subjects. You can take up graduation in forensic science (i. e B.Sc. Forensic Science) after 10+2. After graduation you can take diploma courses in Forensic Science & Criminology which is of 1 year duration. To take up a masters course in forensic science you need to be a graduate preferably with a first class in Physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, B.pharm, BDS or applied science.

B.Sc. Forensic Science & Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science is offered at :

Institute of Forensic Science, Mumbai (Maharashtra)
The institute of Science Campus, 15, Madam Cama Road , Mumbai (Mumbai Dist.) - 400032

M.Sc. Cyber Forensics and Information Security is offered at :

University of Madras, Chennai (Tamil Nadu)
University Centenary Building, Chepauk, Triplicane P O , Chennai (Chennai Dist.) - 600005


National Institute of criminology and Forensic science, New Delhi conducts training programs for students.
