Scored 171 /240 in ENAT . Can I get a seat in KMC and can I get freeship?

You will get a freeship in MBBS if you are under the first 500 ranks. The freeship seats are limited and the exact number is decided by the university. This only includes the course fee for the corresponding year and the student has to pay the caution as well as registration fee. The continuation of freeship in subsequent years is decided upon the academic performance of the student in university examination.

You have scored well in ENAT.Your percentile in ENAT is 71% (Approx) and with this score, if you have good percentage in class 12 you can expect freeship at KAsturba Medical College (KMC) .

Thank you very much. My CBSC result is yet to be out . Any idea how much % will be required at CBSC along with 71% at ENAT for free-ship.

Along with such good percentage in CBSE at least 60% aggregate along with PCB will be required for it.

Hope, after scoring 71%(Approx) in ENAT, you will remain in Top 300, and if so then Freeship is sure for you.

Candidates admitted to MBBS course within the first 500 ranks and
BDS,BE, BPharm courses within the first 1000 ranks of the respective merit list are offered 100% freeship.
Such freeships are limited and the numbers will be as decided by the University.

So i think you are eligible for the freeship.

yea you have a very good score. so you can take admission in KMC.

freeship is decided from the institution on the criterion of the marks, rank and family income. if after verification of documents they think that you are eligible for freeship then you will get the freeship. i think as you have a very good rank then you will get the freeship.

If you have scored good percentage inclass12th at least 65% aggregate with PCB then it will have extra weight age.

I Hope, after scoring 71% Approx in ENAT, you will remain in Top 400, then you can get Freeship .

for freeship in mbbs in kmc your score must be above 185 out of 240.but most probably you can get mbbs or bds in kmc manipal.
