Respected Sir, I have completed my Graduation about 4 years ago,. Now I want to appear in ICET. So, in this year I am eligible to appear in ICET or not? Kindly let me know about this immediately.

Yes, you can appear in ICET after completing Graduation about 4 years ago.

Eligibility criteria for ICET are:-

Candidates must be a graduate under 10+2+3 pattern. And the applicants had Mathematics a one of the subjects in class 10.
The minimum percentage in graduation is 50% for general and OBC category while that for SC, ST, PwD is 45%.

Yes. Surely you are eligible to appear for ICET Exam as there is no upper age limit to appear for this Exam.

In addition to age criteria, you should also meet below academic criteria to apply for ICET Exam.

Candidates should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% of marks.

Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category.

Candidates who have completed Graduation in Distance Education are also eligible to apply for this Exam.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation also are also eligible to take this Exam.

Now there are 2 ICET Exams based on the state.

For Andhra Pradesh candidates, it is AP ICET Exam.

For Telangana State candidates, it is TS ICET Exam.

I would suggest you to have good preparation for this Exam so that you can get admission for respective PG course MCA / MBA in a top college.

Though your 4 years academic gap is not problem for ICET Exam, it may be a problem for you at the time of campus selection.

Usually most of the MNC's will accept the candidates only upto 2 years academic gap.

However there are some companies which will not consider the academic gap. You can try for jobs in such companies.

But please be ready with a genuine reason for the 4 year academic gap.
