Some of them have written as fake on the net, how far is it true. Is the Global open university of Nagaland a recognized one. Why are people writing like that.

Global Open University is recognized by the University Grant Commission.
The Courses offered through distance mode were provisionally approved by the Distance Education Council from 02-06-2008 to 01-06-2009. Since there is no proof of the approval by the Distance Education Council for the course offered after 01-06-2009, its quite clear that the council has not approved the University for offering courses through distance mode.

At the end the quetion arises that why DEC has not extended the aprroval after 01-06-2009.
university is saying that we have already applied for approval and till DEC not approve we will continue to enroll students...
in that case DEC should take step ot should apprive the university for distance course..

Respected sir.. I'm Irshad Ahmad Rather from Jammu & Kashmir. I had completed my BA degree(distance mode) from your university in the year of 2010 to 2013 under registration no 211106 and roll no TGOU/BA/PRV//00101336/G. Now I'm applying for BED through Kashmir university but the Kashmir university authorities cancelled my application form they complaint that Global Open University Nagaland has not UGC recognition and the Courses offered through distance mode were provisionally approved by the distance education Council from 02-06-2008 to 01-06-2009. since there is no proof of the approval by the Distance Education Council for the course offered after 01-06-2009, its quite clear that the council has not approved the University for offering courses through distance mode. I have also wrote this matter on your university email ID on 09 May 2014. I'm also waiting for my separate marks sheets of 1st , 2nd & 3rd year since long time I only got my degree marks sheet. In view of the above you are requested to take strict action against concern staff of Kashmir university as soon as possible and intimate me also because the last date of submission of application form is 13 May 2014.

Sir. l m Norbu Tshering lepcha from sikkim l had enrolled in your esteem university in June 2011,on the subject environmental science and appeared both parts l and ll exam in the month of December 2012, but till date l have been able to get only part l result and have not been able to get part ll result due to which I have to bear uncountable loss in several opportunities.
