Kohima is the capital city of the state of Nagaland and it is a hill station bounded by mountains and green hills. One of the three campuses of the popular Nagaland University of the state of Nagaland is located in Kohima.

Kohima College:

Kohima College is coming under the jurisdiction of Nagaland University and this college is offering Bachelor’s degree in the faculty of arts both under general and under honors stream. The subjects covered under arts stream are English, environmental studies, alternative English, economics, political science, education, history and Tenyidie. Admission to this college is done based on the performance of the students in the higher secondary examination.

Government Polytechnic College:

Dimapur Government College:

Dimapur Government College came into existence in the year 1966 and initially the college was affiliated to Guwahati University. Then, the college came under the jurisdiction of North Eastern Hill University for the period between 1974 and 1993. After the year 1994, the college came under the jurisdiction of Nagaland University and it was converted as Government College in the year 1989. This college is offering Bachelor of Commerce Course with affiliation from the Nagaland University.

Nagaland College of Education:

Nagaland College of Education is a teacher education institutions working under the control of the Government of Nagaland and this institution is offering Bachelor of Education course.
