Yes, After completing B.com Course you are eligible to apply for Government recruitment examination to get a government jobs.

And after completing your B.com you are eligible to apply for Bank recruitment examination. So after B.com Course you are eligible to apply for Bank PO examination Post And for this post you need to complete your Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.

For this year the SBI bank PO examination was going to be held on 07/Aug/2011. But If you have not apply for this examination then please dont worry Because you have another chance to apply for Government bank Jobs.

There are jobs available for bank exams. But my option is to continue your higher studies. Because if you go for job side ,then your interest will not return to studies. So,best choice is to finish your Master degree like M.Com or MBA. Then you can placed in a better position than now.

Jobs in Government Sector

A candidate with B.Com can submit an application to various jobs under the UPSC, SSC, IFS, Banks, Postal service, Railways, Defense, and State PCS etc.

Central Government Jobs after B.Com

Most of the Central government job vacancies are filled by the UPSC examinations. There are various exams, depending up on the grade and posts. The UPSC’s highest grade of examinations which a B.com graduate can appear is the IAS, IFS, IPS and other central government services. The SSC also hold different tests as to fill the vacancies in different government organizations like Accounts assistant, Tax assistant, Grade III Exam, Combined Metric Level and Combined Graduate Level Exam etc.

The Indian banking sector is another main recruiter of B.Com graduates. This sector offers huge number of employment opportunity to students. Most of the Banks offer a decent pay and secured job to graduates. Some of the openings available to a B.Com graduate in a Bank are Clerical to Probationary officer posts. As to apply for the PO jobs, candidates need to have more than 60% of marks.

A B.com graduate can join in the railway as Assistant Accounts Officers and climb the ladder through department exams and grade promotion to Divisional Accounts Officers, Senior Divisional Accounts Officers till Chief Accounts Officer.

CIVIL SERVICES::Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC to select candidates for the post of IAS,IPS.This exam is conducted in two phase preliminary and the main which consist of written and interview .Only after clearing prelims you will be able take the main exam.To be eligible for the civil service :

You must have completed your graduation and you should be between 21 to 30 years of age.

CDSE::It is conducted twice a year by the UPSC to select students at officer post in the ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE.Since you have completed your bachelor degree in commerce then you are eligible to join ARMY by taking CDSE exam and clearing it.

But if you have physics and maths as a subject in class 12th then you are eligible for the navy and air force post too.

BANK EXAMS:You can also take clerical and the PO bank exam. Different bank conduct their clerk and PO exam in which all graduate students who have a little knowledge of computer is eligible

CBI:Crime branch of India is one of the prestigious government body you can also joint this by taking exam call CGPE or SSC.

For getting banking sector job you have to appear in bank PO exam.
For that you must complete your graduation first in any discipline.. You should have 60%aggregate throughout your career.. Your age must be in between 21-30years..You must be computer literate..These are the criteria you have to be fulfilled to appear in bank PO exam.

UPSC civil service exams-
If you want to go for administrative jobs then you can go for UPSC exams like- IAS, IPS..
For appearing in this type of exam you must have complete your graduation in any discipline.. your age should be lies in between 21-30 years..

Defense exams-
If you want to join defense then you can appear in exams like-CDS(combined defense service).

Dear , vikash rathor there is good job prospectus for b.com . if you want government job first you should registered in GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT OFFICE .

After B.com you are eligible for entrance exams for various types of jobs like, for civil services, for Defense services, for Bank P.O. exam and for Railway job through RRB. So if you meet otherwise all other conditions, you should go for according to your suitability. But Bank P.O. job will be the best.
