i am aspired to give the JMET exam so i want to get some guidelines about how to prepare for this exam..

Here are very few but important guidelines for JMET {dont ignore them}

1. JMET is not just meant for testing your knowledge. In one word, it is a
test to your attitude and communication skills along with your academics.

2. Remain your mind in a calm state each and every moment right from
preparation to end Test.

3. DONT STOP putting your efforts until the exam time vanishes.

4. (In the studies point)Learn the things. dont try to remember the things...

5. Kill the fear inside you and lead like a brave soldier in battle field.

jmet exam is generally for engineering graduates only.
for preparing for jmet the best materials is the TIME institutes study materials,
once go through the previous years papers because generally the pattern or type of questions do not change,reasoning part is bit tough
all the best

Jmet prep is a little different from other management entrance exams in way that the quants section contains questions on higher arithmetic(derivatives,integration,limits etc)...Rest all the things are same...You have quants,Logical reasoning and data interpretation and verbal ability....For quants you can refer maths books upto 12th....For logical reasoning you need to practice caselets....For di you need to practice interpreting graphs,pie charts and be good with logical ability and as far as verbal ability goes you need to read english newspapers daily....

No special books required for English, DI n Critical reasoning stuff. You need to read some higher maths (till Class 12th) which you can do from RS Aggarwal or RD Sharma or even NCERT books.
There are no sectional cutoffs in JMET. Just concentrate on maximising your scores and try to attempt 4-5 in Maths.

I have completed my diploma mining engineering I want to prepare for jmet in mining how much percentage require to qualify in jmet
