I m doing T.Y.B.sc(computer science).
i m comfused for PG: MCA or MSC(computer science)

you are an bsc from computer science then it is better to do PG from computer science

I will advice you to go for MCA, as priority is given to MCA candidates between MCA and M.SC.(computer science).

i will suggest you to go for mca rather than m.sc.because you can do mca in some very prestigious colleges in india like nit's and iit's.
also mca has a wider scope than m.sc

snehal you can do any of the pg programme but mca is little better than msc .. do it in a good college .. all the best

i would like to increase your confusion by adding MBA (INFORMATION SYSTEMS) as a probable course to undertake if u r a computer geek.among all the degrees it is most in demand and most rewarding......
but its better to do mca or msc from a mediocre college than going for MBA(IS) from a mediocre one. college and course matters too much in MBA.

of course you should gor foe m sc as your base is bsc it will be fruitful to you

and regarding your question i think in my openion doing MCAwill be better for you as it has a good scope and always you can get a good job after it as it is in high demand.

if you are currently doing bsc in computer science, i think you may do mca, because mca is better than msc. and their are wide scope in computer field.

It is better for you to do the PG form computer science that is MCA,as you mentioned that you are from the BSc computer science.

It has better scope in the near future as the demand of computer application as increasing along with the increasing days.

Also if you did MCA from any recognized institution ,you will be equivalent to the B.Tech student of computer science.

Both of these choices are good , if you want to do Msc , then appear for GATE for admission in iits.Mca is also good options , you can take admission in Du for this.

MCA is the best choice in PG. Because in future many says that MCA

has more scope than Msc computer science. I want to specially inform you that

i am also going to do MCA as a pg course.

Both are the master degrees and both have wide scopes in future..
MCA is stand for Master in computer application and this is very good course..
and it have very large scopes in future..
But i think as you completed your Bsc so you have to go with Msc..
Because BSc concepts helps you to understand MSc concepts and it is quite easier to you..

friend as per my sincere suggestion you can directly choose MCA only .Because if you go to MCA side you will have a lot of opportunity in coming periopd.recently my brother completed MCA .Right now he is working in HCL and get 25000/- starting.So as my sincer suggestion go to MCA
