No, If You Are In 6Th Class Then You Are Not Eligible To Apply for NTSE Examination, The Examination is Conducted by NCERT for Students Studying in Class VIII.

NTSE Eligiblity Criteria -

To Apply for this examination the Students Must Study 8Th Class Examination in Recognized schools And then they are eligible to appear for the respective Class VIII Stage I examination conducted by the States And there will be no domicile restriction on this examination.

Application form for NTSE Examination was availiable Online in the NCERT Official Website, So Eligible Candidates download the application form directly form the NCERT Website.

The Selection is Based on Two Modes, Stage I and Stage II.

Stage I examination is the State Level test Comprises of Mental Ability test And Scholastic Ability Test. But Stage II is the National Level test Comprises again of Mental Ability test And Scholastic Ability Test And Interview.

And If You have qualify the written examination at the National Level Only then you will be invited for interview.

At class 6th standard you are not eligible for NTSE. This is for the students who are in class eight.

NTSE exam is only for class 8 students, but many students start preparing from class 6 itself as the syllabus is generally from class 6 to 8. Also mental ability is one subject which takes time to master, so you can start practicing atleast mental ability questions from class 6.

No, you can not apply for NTSE exam at class 6. NTSE exam is only for class 8 students and you arre in 6th class. so you can not apply .
but you can prepare for that exam .

In order to appear in this Exam,you should be:-

>>You must be studying in class 6 either from CBSE/Government Board from Recognized school.

>>You must be From India Region.

>>You must be passed out in class 5 with Good Marks.

>>Your Minimum Marks in class 5 should be above 50%.

There will be written Exam conducted by NCERT for the National Talent search Exam.After getting passed in this Exam,you will be Eligible for getting the Scholarship.

The syllabus for this Exam is:-

>>Mental Ability Test.
>>English Comprehension.
>>Elementary Mathematics.

Total Number of Questions will be 100.
Total Duration for this Exam will be 2 hours.
