dear friend

Eligibility for appearing for CST -2010 is three years B.Sc or Polytechnic diploma.
This test is completed in objected type in four stages E, I, D, G. for E, I level test
require only bachelor degree or diploma....

Examination Procedure

Every paper contains 25 multiple choice questions
Every correct answer carries three marks.
One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Selection procedure -Admission is given based on the merit
in aptitude test and computer concepts.
Course fee -Rs. 65, 000.

there are 3 levels of CST .
1.E and l level
2.D level.
3.G level.
for E and l level the candidate must meet any one of the following eligibility criteria:
1.A Bachelor's degree in any subject.
2.A diploma in Engineering with a minimum of three years’ formal education after the 10th standard or two years’ after the 12th standard. The diploma should be recognised by a state government or the central government as an engineering diploma.
3.Other qualifications recognised by a state government or the central government as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. In such cases, the candidate should produce proof of Government recognition.

for D level The candidate must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
1.B.Sc. in Computer Science or any equivalent Bachelor’s degree in the Computer/IT areas.
2.Bachelor's degree in any subject and at least 6 months’ part-time training in software technology, comprising a minimum of 15 hours of work per week, covering basic computer concepts and computer programming in the C language.
3.Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 3 months’ full-time training in software technology, comprising a minimum of 30 hours of work per week, covering basic computer concepts and computer programming in the C language.
4.Graduates in any subject who have undertaken courses on computers, equivalent to the training in software technology requirement as mentioned in (b & c) above, as a part of their degree requirements. Candidates are required to produce attested mark lists as a proof that they have done at least a one-semester computer course.
5.Candidates who have completed a 3-year, full-time Diploma course in Computer Science or Computer Engineering after the 10th standard. This diploma should be recognised by a state government or the central government as an engineering diploma.

and finally for G level The candidate must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
1. Four year Bachelor’s OR Higher Degree in Engineering or equivalent in RELEVANT STREAM*
2. MCA, M.Sc. (Comp Science.), M.Sc. (IT), MCS, MCM
3. PGDST or FPGDST or APGDST from CDAC, Mumbai or Electronics City, Bengaluru.

3. Goa University
4. International School of Management Excellence, Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru
5. MPSTME, NMIMS, Mumbai
6. Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College, Goa University
Candidates who have appeared for the final examination for a degree or equivalent diploma mentioned in the eligibility criteria above, but have not received their results, and candidates who are in the final year of their degree or diploma are permitted to take the examination. They must, of course, satisfy other eligibility criteria

Competence in Software technology exam eligibilty is graduation in science or Polytechnic diploma.For E and I level candidate should be a graduateor diploma in computer science.For G level candidates should be a graduate in computer science/IT/telecommunication/MCA/MSc IT.For D level the candidate should be a graduate or diploma in computer science.The application forms can be filled in physical form and online applications can also be downloaded through the site http://cst.cdacmumbai.in
