My wife has cleared her NEt exams of Dec 2010 and her results have been declared recently.
She would like to apply for a Govt. job in universities or Govt. colleges. She would like to know
What is the maximum / Upper age limit to apply for a govt. job after clearing Net exam.

You need to attend the NET exam for getting in to government colleges or universities. This exam is conducted by UGC. The main eligibility is a post graduation in any discipline. It should be secured from a recognized university or a college. A minimum of 55% of marks is essential to attend this test. There is no upper age limit specified for the lectureship positions.
