b. Entrance Qualifying Criteria: Qualifying criterion has been changed from 50% of absolute marks in NEET to 50 percentile in NEET to ensure that no seat remains unfilled.

i. Minimum 17 years at the time of admission
ii. Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC

d. Number of Attempts: A maximum of three attempts

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is proposed to allow 10+2 students to appear in a single entrance examination to get admission to almost all medical colleges in the country, including private medical colleges, from 2012 academic year except the Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC),pune and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) , New Delhi and the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria For NEET Examination :

The student musthave pass 12th class examination securing minimum of 50% for General category & 40% for Reserved category .
The Student should Complete 17th year on or before 1st jan of 2012 and must be with in 25 years on/before 31st December of the year of the entrance examination
The Student belong to SC/ST/OBC get 5 year relaxation on age.

N.E.E.T EXAM

N.E.E.T exam is conducted by C.B.S.E once in a year.

It is for every medical college.

After qualifying N.E.E.T exam you can take admission in any top college in India.
ELIGIBILITY FOR N.E.E.T EXAM:-
> Pass 12th with minimum 50% marks from recognized University or Board.
For ST/SC candidate minimum 45% marks is require.
> The age limit for exam is 17-25 year.
> Maximum number of attempts is 3.
> The candidate must be citizen of India.

NEET stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST.

This exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for the students who want to Join Under Graduation Course.

For this exam you must have 12th.

And you must secuire more then 50 % in your 12th.

AGE LIMIT ;;

Your age should be between 17-21 years.

Max age is 25 years for General category.

5 years upper age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates

5 for Sc/St/OBC.

NEET stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test which is conducted by CBSE .

The General category Candidate must have 50 % marks in the class 12th with physics, chemistry and biology subject taken together.For Sc/ST candidate required 40% marks and for PH candidate require 45% marks .The students of all categories are required to pass Physics, Chemistry and Biology, English subjects individually.But there is no marks criteria in individual subject .

The minimum age of the candidates should be 17years.There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in the NEET exam.
