how to apply for iit?? where i will get forms?? what is the date foe examination ? what are the various enterance exams for engineering after 12th in maharashtra? what is the minimum percentage is required for appearing to engineering?

I must tell u to fill form online.
You just log in at the IIT Bombay's site
www.iitb.ac.in

along with the print out of your filled online form you must a send a DD in favour of The Chairman IIT JEE (all these information is given on the site)

You must go through the dates of examination.

You need only 60% or higher %age in 12th to be elegible for IIT

You can get the application either online or offline.

The sale of applications have started from November 12.

The IIT JEE 2011 application forms material can be obtained from any of the designated bank branches in each zone listed.The cost of the application is Rs 1000 for GE/OBC/DS male candidates and Rs 500 for female/SC/ST/PD candidates.

You can apply the form online in the following link

You can fill the form step by step.
You can fill in the application status till December 15.

The envelope must be sent by registered post/speed post only.

You can even go for CET for admission in some engineering college.

while purchasing the iit jee application at an out let no bank challan copy was issued. is it necessary to enclose a copy of challan whicle submitting the application.
in other words is the application valid without bank challan.

Is it necessary to enclose the bank challan copy for the institute along with the form? Is the application form valid without one?

You can apply either offline or online. application forms are not available now as the last date for sale of application form is over for the year 2011 exam.

IIT-JEE exam is conducted every year jointly by IITs for admission to UG courses in different branches of Engineering.

Notifications about this exam generally releases in November-December. So, an aspirant must check official site of IIT-JEE regularly in order to get updates regarding this exam.
