i am deena studying final year b.sc computer science i would like apply the ips exams so how to apply

Graduation from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IPS. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination.

IAS, IFS, and IPS are the top three services of Group A, Central Services. The other Group A services include Indian Customs and Central Excise Service, Indian Revenue Service, and Indian Postal Service.
you are can not apply for IPS exam after B.sc. you are not eligible for IPS exam after completing your B.SC degree.
mostly require for IPS master degree.

IPS EXAM 2011

Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 12th June , 2011 in accordance with the Rules published by the Department of Personnel & Training in the Gazette of India extraordinary dated 2nd January, 2010.


How to apply:

• Candidates may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website
• Candidates may also apply off-line in the common application form devised by the commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated head post offices/post offices (specified in appendix III of the notice published in employment news dated 19.02.2011) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs 30/- (Rs thirty) only. Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination

In case of any difficulty in obtaining application forms from the designated HPOs/POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned post master or UPSC’s forms supply monitoring cell over Tele 011-23389366/Fax 011-23387310

For IPS exam, you can either apply online as well as offline.
The offline application form can be obtained from the designated post offices/Head post offices.
To apply online, visit www.upsconline.nic.in

The eligibility criteria for the exam are as follows.
Minimum educational qualification- Graduate
Minimum age- 21 years
Maximum age-30 years, 35 years for SC/ST and 33 years for OBC.

The IPS exam has three stages
Civil Service Aptitude Test
Main Examination
Interview

To become an IPS officer you must crack UPSC exam.

To apply for UPSC exam you must be a graduate and your age limit must be

between 21 and 30 yrs. You can apply for UPSC exam through following website

Yes, you can apply for exam.

IPS(Indian Police Service) officer. The IPS exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission).

* Candidates should be the citizen of India.
* Candidates should complete graduation from recognized university.
* You should have age limit within 21 to 30 years.
* For OBC category age limit 21 to 33 years
* For SC/ST category age limit 21 to 35 years.
* Final year candidates are also eligible.

Attempts:

* For general - 4 attempts
* For OBC - 7 attempts
* For SC/ST - No limit

Procedure:

3. Interview
