Qualification needed for a job in LIC

qualification- 10+2 for city based.

- class 10 for rurel areas.

age- 18 yrs

All prospectus agents must undergo 50 hours of prescrbed training

There are no fee for TRAINING.

The training is provided before clearing the written examination either online or in paper mode.

Qualification:

1.12th pass with 50% from any stream

2.Age limit 18

How to apply:

Go to near by LIC branch and ask Development officer,that you want to become his agent ,then he will say you all procedure .

Here is the step by step guidence for applying to become a Lic Agent

Eligibility required :

• Your minimum educational qualification should be 12th standard pass out with any discipline.
• Your minimum age should be 18 years or above.

Process :

1. First you will have to meet your Nearest branch officer of LIC and there you will have to meet development officer.
2. Then Branch officer will conduct an interview and after that if you will find eligible ,if you sent to training at divisional/Agency Training center.
3. The Training will be of 100 hours which will cover all techniques and areas related to gain maximum area in Insurance field.
4. If you will get pass in Training then you will be awarded LIC agent License by the IRDA through which you will able to work as LIC agent in nearest LIC office of your city.
5. After getting License of LIC agent you will able to work as a LIC agent under Development officer in LIC office.

Qualities required by you to become a LIC agent :

1. Self motivation.
2. Good in Communication.
3. Ability to convince to others.

Process for applying Online to become a LIC Agent

1. First you will have to visit IRDA official website.To visit click here .
2. Then you will have to fill "Fill Call Back Form to Join LIC".
3. After that yu will have to fill your necessary details such as :Name,Contact Number,City/State,Area,Current profession.
4. After that the training which you want to take such as IRDA,LIC Agency,LIC Policy,Training CD.
5. After that in Second Last Column you will have to enter your query.
6. After that you will have to enter the Code that is given below.
7. Finally you will have to Click "Submit" Button.
