Applications are invited from resident Indian nationals for admission to MBBS course (number of seats 98) for the year 2011 through entrance examination............


Eligibility conditions
Essential: Applicant must be a resident Indian national; should have studied and completed his/her course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years...............


Applicants should have been born on or before 01st January, 1995
Educational: Applicant should have passed higher/senior secondary examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and a pass in English for UR and 45% for UR-OPH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC..................


Entrance examination: JIPMER uses paper-based test administration (MCQ) for merit listing the candidates for the above admission............


Candidate has to appear for entrance examination to be conducted by JIPMER in 12 centres around the country on 05th June, 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications: 25th April, 2011, 4.30 p.m.
Entrance examination: 05th June, 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Counseling: 13th July, 2011
Commencement of course: 22nd July, 2011
Distribution of seats: UR 33; OBC 17; SC 10; ST 07; P-UR 17; P-OBC 09; P-SC 05
Application-cum-prospectus for MBBS course 2011 session can be obtained by one of the following methods

From the counter of state bank of India (SBI), JIPMER campus from 09th March, 2011 to 25th April, 2011 (4.00 p.m.)

Postal request to Professor, Academic, JIPMER from 06th March, 2011 to 18th April, 2011 accompanied by a demand draft for Rs 1000/- for UR/OBC and Rs 650/- for SC/ST (should attach a copy of attested SC/ST certificate) drawn in the name of accounts officer, JIPMER payable at Pondicherry
Two labels with candidate’s address written legibly must be enclosed......


On-line submission through JIPMER website from 06th March, 2011 to 18th April, 2011...........


However online applicants have to send the printout with necessary enclosures so as to reach on or before 25th April, 2011, 4.30 p.m.

I applied for MBBS course on online on 30th march 2012 at 7-30pm . I have alloted application no:as 505940. After receiving print out copy, i i i observed that in the application form under overseas citizen of Iindia[OCI]. Wrongly entered'YES'instead of 'NO'.Actually i belongs to ANDHRA PRADESH from chittoor dist. please rectify that mistake and give me the suggestion, how to rectify it?
