as per the scheduled notification,the applicants has to get the From the counter of state bank of India, JIPMER campus only from 03.12.2010 to 03.01.2011

am sorry to say you cannot apply for this year,because the date fot the application has ended.
anyway am giving you the information regarding the examination

Educational: Minimum of MBBS degree recognized by the medical council of India, must have completed the required period of 12 months pre-registration internship from a recognized hospital on or before 31st March, 2011
Prescribed closing date for receipt of completed application: 03rd January, 2011 (5.00 p.m.)

Entrance examination: 13th February, 2011 (10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)

Display of merit list on or before: 19th February, 2011

First counseling: 18th/19th March, 2011

Commencement of course: 1st April, 2011

JIMPER is the entrance exam for MBBS. The duration for this course is 4years and 6 months. The complete details regarding the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education Research (JIMPER) entrance exam is mentioned below:

Educational Qualification:
1. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as a compulsory subjects.
2.The candidate have scored minimum 50% in combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For SC/ST candidates it is 45%

The candidate will be disqualified if the eligibility criteria is not full filled.

There is a reservation of seats in different categories such as

Unreserved (UR)Other Backward Classes (OBC),Scheduled Caste (SC),Scheduled Tribe (ST),Puducherry Unreserved (P-UR),Puducherry Other Backward Classes (P-OBC),Puducherry Scheduled Caste (P-SC),Government of India nomination.

So the number of seat reservation in the above category is mentioned in prospectus so you ccan check it out from there.

JIPMER i.e Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) conducts an entrance test for admission to its MBBS course.

It has a total of 100 seats in its MBBS course and out of these admission to 82 seats is through JIPMER entrance. Rest 18 seats are through nomination by Government


Eligibility Criteria

• Have passed Equivalent Exams like 10+2 Exam with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB
• You should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31.10.2011

EXAMINATION CENTRES:

• Candidate can opt Different Centers like Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Nagpur, New Delhi, Puducherry,Thiruvananthapuram,Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhopal etc

Notification will come in the month of Feb- March
And Exam will be in the Month of June.

AVAILABILITY:
[1] Prospectus cum applications are available on cash payment at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry only from 1-12-2010 to 03-01-2011 (4.00 pm.)

[2] Prospectus cum application can also be had from 01-12-2010 to 31-12-2010 from Professor (Academic), JIPMER, Puducherry-605 006 through postal request, accompanied by M.I.C.R. Demand Draft for ?.1,000/ (for Unreserved/OBC) and ?.800/- (for SC/ST) issued by any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of "Accounts Officer, JIPMER" payable at Pondicherry-605006.

[3] On Line Application: JIPMER MD/MS 2010 Applications can be submitted by an ON LINE process (Internet based) by accessing the website: www.jipmer.edu.in from 1-12-2010 to 31-12-2010. The Prospectus can be downloaded from the available link.

[4] Applicants may opt to remit the prescribed cost of the Prospectus cum Application Form (Examination fee included) through one of the following methods.

(a) Direct cash payment at State Bank of India (SBI) counter, JIPMER Campus only. No
Application will be issued directly from the Academic Section.
(or)

(b) Bank Draft M.I.C.R. Demand Draft for 1,000 (For SC/ST : 800 only) issued by
any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of "Accounts Officer, JIPMER" payable at
Pondicherry.
(or)

(c) Account Transfer: Applicants who maintain account with Banks other than SBI may remit the fee by account transfer using the National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT)
