how to become a cs after completing 12th standard ?

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

1.The candidate should be 10+2 pass or its equivalent.

2. The candidate should be a student of any discipline in Arts, Commerce and Science (excluding Fine Arts) for pursue this course.

3. Those candidates appearing in 10+2 or its equivalent can also seek provisional admission subject to submission of proof of passing the said examination within 6 months as mentioned by the chief executive of this institute.


ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

1. For admission candidate have to fill Application Form. The Application Form and Prospectus can be obtained by Cash Payment of Rs200/- or by Post/Courier: DD/PO of Rs250/- drawn in favour of “The Institute of Company Secretaries of India” payable at New Delhi.

After Competing your class 12th, you have to take admission in the Foundation stage of the CS programme

Cut off Dates for Admission to Foundation Stage is
28th March 2013 for December 2013 Exams
30th September 2013 for June 2014 Exam

Fees for the Foundation stage is Rs 3600
Exam Fees is Rs 875

You have to study the below 4 subjects in the Foundation stage:
1. Business Environment and Entrepreneurship
2. Business Management, ethics and Communication
3. Business Economics
4.Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing

>> Educational qualification
- Candidate should be minimum eligibility required for passed in 10+2 or an equivalent examination.

>> Age limit
- Minimum 17 Years.

>> Three level of CS
- Company Secretary Foundation Courses = 8 Months
- Company Secretary Intermediate Courses = 10 Months
- Company Secretary Final Courses

>> After complete CS the training in 15 months.
