How to become Lecturer in Government Colleges in Karnataka after qualifying NTA NET?

I finished my Master degree in Commerce with M.Com and also cleared NET (NTA) exam. Could I get Lecturer post job in Government College in Karnataka state? Or, what to do to get Lecturer designation in Government Colleges?

Default Re: How to become Lecturer in Government Colleges in Karnataka after qualifying NTA NET?

In order to become a lecturer, the aspirant must have cleared UGC NET .
PhD degree in relevant field has now been made mandatory by UGC to become Assistant professor in India.
B.Ed is not compulsory to become a lecturer in Karnataka.
As UGC NET qualified candidates, they can apply and be eligible for Assistant Professor ship in both colleges and universities.
As only PhD, not UGC-NET qualified candidates, candidates are not eligible for Assistant professor ship till July 2023. After UGC will mandate PhD , all the qualified candidates will be eligible.
Those who have qualified for both PhD as well as UGC NET are eligible for both Assistant professor or Associate professor post. Candidates will get promotion in their post early with both qualified degrees.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
