After passing 10+2 with decent percentage, you will have to qualify CPT i.e. Common Proficiency Test.

CPT Exam contains multiple choice questions.

Examination Mode:

• Online
• Offline

CPT Examination includes:

• Quantitative Aptitude
• Mercantile Law
• Accounting
• General Economics

Exam Pattern:
Session I includes two sections making a total of 100 marks.
Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting (60 marks)
Section B: Mercantile Laws (40 marks)

Session II also includes two sections making a total of 100 marks.
Section C: General Economics (50 marks)
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)

CPT Exam contains Negative Marking.

After clearing this CPT Exam, you will have to go for IPCC.

Then, you will have to complete your Articleship Training under CA.

After the successful completion of your Training, you will be CA.
