If you want to appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture-NATA, you must have qualified higher secondary examination with Mathematics as on of your major subjects.
The test is basically conducted by the Council of Architecture, the regulating body of architecture as a course and as an profession.
The registration form can be downloaded from the official website of NATA, anytime during a year and the test can be taken till 25th September of any given year.
Once you download the registration form, you may submit it to your nearest NATA test center, where you are supposed to get an appointment for NATA Tset.

NATA :- National Aptitude Test in Architecture

The Examination is held during the month of January

Eligibility criteria for NATA Examination :-

You should complete 12th board Examination in science stream from recognized university . You should score minimum 60% percentage of marks in 12th Examination . Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the examination .


If your aspiring to apply for B.arch or B.planning then you should compulsory having Mathematics subject in 12th board Examination then only your eligible for B.arch course .

NDAT Examination consist of Two paper Namely :-

-Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
-Drawing Test

For Aesthetic Sensitivity Test Consist of Following Syllabus like ,

-Analytical Reasoning
-Architectural Awareness
-Identifying commonly used material and objects based on their texture
-Visualizing three dimensional objects through two dimensional drawing
-Visualizing different sides of three dimensional objects
-Mental ability.
-Imaginative comprehension and expression

For Drawing Test consist of Following Syllabus like ,

-Learn to sketh given object proporationately and rendering in a visually appearaling manner
-Light and Shadow on object and its surrounding
-perspective Drawing
-You should be able to combine three dimensional object to from stable structure and depict in sketching
-Sense of Scale and proporation
-Colour composition, Sense of colour
-Memory Drawing
-You should be able to sketch two dimesional compisition using given shape and form
