Lets see that when there is a notification coming for recruitment of junior engg.then there will be certain rules and regulTions to be obey.if there will be any rules given that final year student may apply then you can apply for that post.other wise you cannt.dont be excited yourself.keep prepare yourself.gd luck

The eligibility criteria required to write SSC(Staff Selection Commission) JE(Junior Engineer) examination are as under :-

-The candidate should have a Degree/Diploma in Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical discipline from a recognized University .

-The candidate age limit should be in between 18 years to 32 years . The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates .

Paper I : Written Objective type Examination of 200 marks .

General Intelligence & Reasoning

General Awareness

Part-A- General engineering (civil & structural) Or

Paper II : Written Conventional type Examination of 300 marks .

Part-A- General engineering (civil & structural) Or

A junior engineer receives a salary of pay scale Rs. 9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 4200/-.

Sir, i am final year diploma mechanical student am i eligible for applying ssc je 2016-17. My date of birth is 16/11/1998

I have completed diploma in mechanical and have completed b. tech in mechanical in 2016 , but i did not show b. tech in application form of ssc je 2015 . can i eligible for ssc je (MES) ?
