I have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering on 1990.After that I am working in Cement Industries.Now I am working in Nigeria as Asst.Manager (Mech) in Cement plant.I want to study further(Higher study).Kindly I request you to advice me which kind of course I can take.If you give suggestion I can make the arrangement to start my higher study.

see, after diploma in Mechanical Engineering you can do many courses.

but effective course will be BE/B.Tech.

if you can do BE/B.Tech in production engineering,plant engineering, Mechanical,Aeronautical, marine engineering, your future career will be very good.

The only way through which you can go for your higher study is Lateral entry exam .Through this exam you can join B.tech/BE .From Mechanical you can go to Production or Automobile in graduation .But I think Mechanical is the best branch which can give you most opportunities in future .
So according to me go on with Mechanical in graduation will be the best idea .

you can take direct admission in b.tech in 2nd year and after that you can do m.tech or mba ,it's better then any other studies , i m also did it

see, following diploma in Physical Engineering you can do many courses.

but powerful program is likely to be BE/B.Tech.

if you can do BE/B.Tech in creation executive,plant executive, Physical,Aeronautical, underwater executive, your potential career is likely to be really good.


The only method through which you may choose your larger examine is Horizontal access exam .Through this exam you can join B.tech/BE .From Physical you can go to Production or Automobile in graduation .But I think Physical is the greatest branch which can offer you most opportunities in potential.

You can do bachelor degree in engineering after completion of your diploma.To get admission into engineering you have to write a entrance exam conducted by your state government for diploma holders.Once you qualified in the exam you will directly get admission into 2nd year of engineering.
