I am mohan. I completed B.E.Civil Engineering, i have been trying to get a job. Can u help me?

Fresh civil engineers have the option to PSU in the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee. Those with a minimum of 60% marks can join PSU such as BPCL and HPCL.Candidates with a minimum of 65% marks can try for jobs in Power Grid or GAIL. In banking sector, engineering graduates can join as Specialist officer or P.O. Defense sector allows these candidates to join as Asst Commandant/Officer. Selection is made through CDS exam. Qualifying ESE conducted by UPSC is suitable to find a rewarding career.

To be very honest ,at the present time it is very difficult to get job with just bachelor;s degree in engineering or science or any other.

The competition is very tough for all the post and for each post two to three candidates are fighting .Recruitment is also now based on the Darvin's theory that states survival for the fittest .

You have to crack the entrance exams for getting jobs in any department .

The some of the entrance exams are as below from which you can select your desired exam and prepare for it and finally get job in your desired department.

1.GATE exam :

>>If you are interested in working in Public sector undertakings like BPCL,HPCL,NTOC,GAIL,BHEL,SAIL etc .You will have to secure good GATE rank as they are now shortlisting candidates on the basing of this .

>>Minimum of 65% marks overall is also need to get eligible for it.

2.With bachelor's degree in civil engineering you are also eligible for the UPSC entrance exams like :

1.Indian Engineering services

2.Combined defense services

3.Civil services examinations

4.Central Armed Police force exam

3.Banking entrance exams

>>Institute of banking and personnel selection common written exam

>>SBI entrance exam

4.SSC CGL exams.
