AFMC conduct entrance exam every year for admission in the MBBS Course
in which students from all over India participate.

The total no. of seats are 130(105 boys & 25 girls).

The Notification for entrance exam in the month of December every year.

The notification is published in National Dailies as well as on AFMC official website.

Prospectus is available in all major city GPOs/HPO's/Pos.

The duration of MBBS course is four and a half year followed by internship of one year.

The entrance exam is conducted on 1st sunday of May.

Successful candidates are called for interview in the month of June.

The course is start in the month of July/August.

The minimum educational criteria for applying AFMC entrance exam is:

One should have to Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with at least
aggregate 60% together under the 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate
science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board/Indian University.

Pass with minimum 50% in English & individual Science subject.

Also passed Mathematics in 10th standard.

The age should be between 17yrs to 22 yrs. (Max. age limit is 24 yrs for B.Sc. Passed candidates)

Should be medically fit as per the standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence.

Must be unmarried and also not allowed to marry during the course period.

A.F.M.C stand for Armed Force Medical College.
AFMC is among te top medical college in India.

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam


Written exam consist of total 200 question and 2 hours time.

Exam Pattern:-
Physics:- 50 Question
Chemistry:- 50 Question
Biology :- 50 question
Logic based:- 25 question
English :-25 Question

if this is right then tell me is this medical test is as same like other medical test that happen while NDA or any other tes..

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) has announced the dates for AFMC MBBS entrance examination, which will be conducted in May 2012. The AFMC MBBS entrance exam will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
AFMC 2012 is a medical entrance exam which is held to take admission into MBBS program offered by Arafmc-exammed Forces Medical College.
AFMC MBBS 2012 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed all the subjects opted for in the first attempt of the qualifying examinations as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these 3 science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard.
Application Procedure for AFMC MBBS 2012:
Prospectus including application form will only be available online and the prospective candidates must have a valid e-mail id. Detailed modalities for the application process will be available on this website www.afmc.nic.in soon.
AFMC MBBS 2012 Paper Pattern:
AFMC 2012 is a single level entrance examination divided into 4 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Intelligence, Logic and Reasoning and English language and Comprehension. The paper consists of 200 questions each carrying one mark.
