How to join CBI? I am B.Sc forensic science graduate. My age is 26. I completed my degree in Forensic science. I want to join CBI department. What is the procedure? What are the qualification? When will be recruitment announced for the post? Please reply

Hi,

To become a CBI officer, then you have to appear the exams conducted by UPSC. This exams is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation and the application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of October.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.

AGE CRITERIA:

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years.
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years.
For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

Eligibility for CBI :
All the candidates must be Indian citizens
All the candidates must complete degree from a recognised university by the central government
The age limit is 20 - 27 years
The maximum age limit for OBC candidates is 33 years
The maximum age limit for SC, ST is 35 years
You must qualify SSC exam to get job as a CBI officer

you need to clear ssc cgl and upsc exams which are held once a year ,
