how can i join in indian army while studying b.e mechanical engineering?

If you have completed bachelor Engineering degree with Mechanical branch,If you want to get a jobs
in Indian Army,First of all you are qualifying Technical Graduate Course(TGC) entrance examination,
If you have qualified in this examination then you will have do get a jobs in Indian Army and your future
will be secured,

Age limit.......

You must have a age limit of 19 to 28 yerars

Education Qualification............

B.tech\BE\Engineering candidates are applicable for this examination with fair percentage

This Examination is conduct through UPSC in twice in years


Final year Enginnering student can also applicable

You can join Indian Army through CDS(Combined Defence Service) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year after completion of Graduation in Mechanical engineering.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Army of CDS must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final Graduation Degreeexam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

You can also join Indian Army through TES(Technical Entry Scheme) conducted by Indian Army for which you can log on to http://www.joinindianarmy.com

you can join indian army by any one of the following type of entries-

1 CDS-this exam is conducted by UPSc to recruit engineers for indian armed forces.Final year students of engineering are eligible for this exam.

2 UES-this is an campus placement drive which is conducted by Indian army,You have to fill application form then army will visit your college for interview.If you qualify the interview then you will be called for SSB and physical test.

3 TES-this is another entry for engineers.

Education Qualification :

If you complete your Engineering Graduation from a recognised university then you can apply for CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC every year twice.

CDS is a Combined Defence Services Exam for recruitment of Officers in Army, Air Force and Navy.

The age limit for CDS examination is as follows:

Air Force Academy- Age between 19 to 23 years.

Naval Academy- Age between 19 to 22 years.

Indian Military Academy- Age between 19 to 24 years.

Officers Training Academy- Age between 19 to 25 years.

Yes my friend, B.E students are eligible for Indian Army.


There are two ways but CDS exam is best for You.

So after completion of graduation you can appear Combined Defence Service
exam.

As you mentioned that you are studying B.E Mechanical engineering, you can write the exam for getting job in Indian Army

The exam is conducted by UPSC and first you need to qualify the TGC (Technical Graduate Course).

If you are pursing in the last year of engineering degree then you can apply for CDS examination .

CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission . CDS Examination s conducted in the month of February and September . The application forms are available in the online mode .

To apply for CDS exam through Indian Army then you must have a least qualification of graduate degree from a recognized University OR Pursing in the last year of degree course . But pre-final year candidates are not allowed sit this examination .

Required Qualification ::

-->> Citizen of India OR Subject of Bhutan OR subject of Nepal .

If you are holding the NCC Certificate and then you can also apply for National Cadet Crops Entry examination and this special NCC entry for the Indian Army.This examination is conducting twice in a year by Indian Army .

In order to get jobs in Indian Army being an Mechanical Engineering you will have to appear in UES(Pre Final Year) Exam.

UES(University Entry Scheme) Exam is conducted by Indian Army for the candidates who have not completed their Study and doing Engineering.

In order to appear in this Exam,you will require the Following Eligibility:-

>>Your minimum age should be 19 years.

Dear,

As a pre final year student of your engineering course you can give UES for Indian army. You can read its notificaton from employement news or from daily news paper.

Eligibility to apply for it is as follows:

1. Age should be between 19 and 25 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence
2. You should be student of Pre Final year students of Engineering Degree Course
3. You should be Un Married

Your SSB after qualifying written will be during your final year and if you qualify your SSB you will called for trining in IMA Dehradun.

So keep an eye on newspapers and keep checking employement news for the notifications regarding it. In some engineering colleges India army recruit through campus so keep cheking about that too.
