Re: How can I prepare for IAS after passing class 11th
Your aim and initiative towards it pleased me very much. But you have to wait for it to become eligible for its entrance examination.
I.A.S stands for Indian Administrative Service and the examination is conducted by UPSC for it. There is no special examination for this. UPSC conducts a common examination for all the higher posts ( IAS/IPS/IFS etc ). The designation are offered according to the merit list prepared by the commission after the examination. The eligibility criteria for the examination is :- *Candidates must have graduation degree in any of the discipline from a recognized university. *Candidates age must be between 21-30 years for general, upto 33 years for OBC and upto 35 for the SC/ST. There is also limitations on number of attempts. The examination is conducted in three stages:- *Preliminary. *Mains. *Interview. It is mandatory to qualify in each of them to be further eligible for the next stage. So from now if you are determined towards it and do the hard work definitely you will get success. From now you can start giving attention to your English, General Knowledge, Social Studies and on Aptitude paper. For more notifications and update about the syllabus keep visiting official website at www.upsc.gov.in. |
