How to become an IAS officer after passing 10th standard?
Sir, I just want to know that which group should I choose for my 11th standard....my aim is to become an IAS officer??? I am right just in class 9....I am studying well and I have an intrest in becoming an IAS officer? Can you please consult me

IAS -Indian Administrative Service Eligibility to become an IAS: He/She shoud be a citizen of India. The candidate should complete degree of any stream from recognised University. Age- 21 to 30 years No. of permissible attempts : 4 for general category 7 for OBC's No limit for SC/ST. You can choose any course in 11th to become an IAS officer All the best. |

As you are interested to become IAS officer i.e Indian Administrative Service officer for this you have to appear, Crack the Civil Service Exam which is held through UPSC every year.... Eligibility criteria: ->The candidates should be a citizen of India. ->The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university. ->The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs, there is a age relaxation for reserved candidates. ->No of attempts- General 4 Sc/St - unlimited Obc- 7 List of best books from where you can prepare for your exam are as follows...... It is nice that you want to become IAS officer in future.After 10th, you must do 12th standard from a recognized board.After 12th , take admission in graduation degree.IAS exam requires graduation degree from a recognized university in any percentage.Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible. Age Limits : A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years. General Category shall be eligible for seven attempts. IAS stands for Indian adminstrative service. Your age is not suffient in getting eligible to write IAS exam.. Requirements and Eligible circulum to become a IAS officers: 1. should have a minium degree form recognised government univesites or colleges. 2. should a wide knowledge over a general issues and history.. Exam pattern: 1.AN normal obc student can apply for 3times only 2.similarly an sc/st can apply 5 times.. 3.it is done on basis of three paths a.mains b.prelims c.personal interview. 4. My friend if you want to become IAS officer you must have degre qualification....you can get it through B.tech or join degree course....if you choosen the engineering stream it is up to technical part only....means you are unable to know what is happening the outside world....In degree course you have to store lot of new things happening in the daily world int o your mind....and we can freely learn the subject freely....
i vote for joining in degree course best to become an IAS officer |

If you want to become IAS officer you must have complete your Graduation degree.
For apply IAS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. I have just passed class 10th. My 9th result was not so good,as I scored only 6.9 %. N in 10th it was board .my result is to come in may or june . I want to take maths science.So is this kind of result will affect my chances to become IAS? And we can take ARTS AND MATHS or not? N will there be physical education in this field?
