CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average.
In order to calculate the percentage of marks on the basis of CGPA score, all you need to do is to multiply the grade point 9.5 times.

CGPA 10= 95%
CGPA 09= 85.5%
CGPA 08= 76%
CGPA 07= 66.5%
CGPA 06= 57%
CGPA 05= 47.5%
CGPA 04= 38%

Dear Friend,

In some colleges, CGPA is directly multiplied by 10 to convert it into percentage.

In some colleges, the formula is (CGPA - 0.50) x 10 to convert it into percentage.

In some colleges, the formula is (CGPA - 0.75) x 10 to convert it into percentage.

So, you should check with your college administration to know the exact formula used in your college or the university.

Here i am giving clear procedure.

1.Multiply your CGPA with 9.5 you can percentage.
2.convert this percentage into marks, by dividing the percentage by 100 and multiply it by whole subjects marks.
3.you can get your marks in numbers.

Ex: suppose your CGPA is 9.2 and you have 6 subjects, total marks is 600(each subject carries 100 marks)

1.9.2*9.5=87.4%
2.87.4/100=0.874
3.0.874*600=525 marks

Follow these steps:

I have same problem. If you have table/formula for conversion of IGNOU B.Ed grades into marks, please send it on my email id [email protected] immediately. I have passed B.Ed in 2010 and I have attended Counselling for Asstt. Teacher (Science). BSA Rampur has demanded the formula from me. Please send it as soon as possible.I shall remain grateful.

u minus that total point by 0 .75
then u will get in percentage
after u can get know ur marks...
